Death has come to take me

Darkness lingers shadows grin and whispers now it is time to depart

Death has arrived in his finest robes to take me to the nowhere land

Taking the first stride of the voyage I take his freezing withered hand

The reaper of death, take me to the land of dead through hot white sand

Misty it is the way we tread tonight hand in hand to the land of dead

My negligee of white flutter in wind slapping on my cheeks

A song of moan it chants wrapping around me its song of depart

The dark night swallows us at the end of the road lies the gate

Hoot the owls, howl the wolves sense they the fragrance of death in air

The waters flow in silence too scared to raise its head and gaze at death’s heir

I glance back at the world I am leaving, the world I liked the world I dwelled

Death kisses my lips I smile back at death he whispers it is time to say farewell
