Either Way My Heart Will Break

The empty cradle sobs upon a wounded bruised womb

A colorless cloud floats away never to return too soon

The petals of a bud soaked in blood way before bloomed

A ruined dream, an echoing cry, a heartless tear doomed

Lifeless breath of unborn spirits buried among undead

Laughter of cruel men roam around, innocent fears unsaid

Delicate thoughts, craving smiles miserably alone in a bed

Done’s done, can’t undone, either way my heart will break
