Simply Disgusted

We await exoneration and resurrection without undoing the wrongs
Passivity of conscious floating in the river of cupidity dank and coarse
Forgotten to praise when praise is due indulged in frequent criticism
Doomed to be shallow ghosts of self importance, ignorance and egotism

We dwell in a land where absence of cruelty is considered as kindness
Friendship is nothing but one using the other, insatiable and spineless
Passion is dissuaded by sheer lust and greed inured in intransigence
I do not wish to write this anymore, I am simply disgusted……
